Aan de totstandkoming van een sample gaat een ontwikkelingsproces vooraf.

Van het eerste patroon stikken wij een proefmodel/toile in een stof, die vergelijkbaar is aan het originele materiaal. Tijdens een doorpas kijken wij gezamenlijk met de opdrachtgever naar het resultaat en denken wij mee over eventuele aanpassingen, om tot de gewenste pasvorm en uitstraling van het ontwerp te komen. Deze aanpassingen worden verwerkt in het patroon. Wanneer de fit en look naar tevredenheid zijn bepaald, vervaardigen wij een sample in de originele, definitieve stof om zo de afwerking en design in optima forma te kunnen beoordelen.

Oneroomoffice maakt samples van zelfontwikkelde patronen, of verzorgt alleen het naaiwerk. Daarvoor kunt u zowel patronen en materialen, als reeds gesneden delen aanleveren. Voor pre-production samples worden alle details afgestemd met de ontwerper, om een perfect voorbeeld te maken voor sales en productie.

Voor modeshows en op bestelling vervaardigen wij hoogwaardige couturestukken. Anders dan bij het reguliere confectieproces, worden alle patronen  handgetekend en ontstaan veelal op basis van moulage. Bij de vervaardiging van dit unieke stuk ligt de nadruk niet alleen op het gebruik van mooie materialen en een onberispelijke uitvoering, maar ook op de liefde en aandacht in het maakproces.

The sample development process has several stages.

From the first pattern we sew a test model / toile in a fabric that is comparable to the original material. During a fitting we judge the toile together with the client. Alterations to catch the desired fit and look of the design are then discussed. These adjustments are incorporated in the pattern. When the look and fit are approved, we can make the sample in the original fabric with the final finishing to judge the design altogether.

Oneroomoffice does not only make samples of inhouse developed patterns. It’s also possible to just take care of the making process of your samples. Clients can provide patterns and materials, as well as the cut pieces. For pre-production samples, all details are discussed with the designer to make a perfect example for sales and production.

We also manufacture high-quality couture pieces for fashion shows and private clients. Unlike the regular confection process, all patterns are hand-drawn and often based on moulage. In the making of this unique piece the emphasis is not only on the use of beautiful materials and flawless execution, but also on the love and attention to the tailoring process.
